SBD Journey
We are thrilled to share the journey of Sweden Balaji Devasthanam (SBD) with you, which began last year as a humble idea and has now blossomed into a vibrant and formal organization. Formed democratically with the collective ideas and dedication of our devotees, SBD has successfully conducted various events, including the auspicious Kalyanam ceremony, which garnered immense interest and participation. Many of you have become valued members, giving us the confidence to take our next big step.
Current Status
Currently, we are operating our Mandir from a rented villa, which has served us well for daily worship and community gatherings. However, the uncertainty of rental agreements and the significant expenses involved in renting are not adding long-term value to our mission. At any moment, we might need to vacate the premises, disrupting our spiritual activities and community services.
Vision
To secure a stable and permanent home for our Mandir, the SBD Board has planned to establish the Mandir in our own place. This will not only provide us with a secure location but also allow us to invest in our future growth and activities without the looming threat of eviction.

We are excited to launch a major donation drive with a target of 7 million SEK to turn our vision into reality. Your generous contributions will help us purchase and develop a permanent site for the Mandir, ensuring that SBD continues to thrive and serve the community for generations to come.
